The club meeting location is in Isanti, Minnesota, at Junction Bowl the 1st Monday of each month, and we have members from all over the area.  Our cars run the complete gauntlet of all makes, models and all stages of restoration.  We are looking for a few good folks who may be interested in joining our club.  To that end, we would like to tell you about ourselves and some of our activities.

Our members are from every sort of background and employment, but our common interest is the love of the classic automobiles and music of the 50's to 80's. There are no requirements as to what kind of classic, hot rod, rat rod or truck you drive. In fact, you don't even need to own a classic to be a member.

Every other week from June through August, we host a
Isanti Weekly Car Show in Isanti Minnesota.  There is NO ENTRY FEE to enter these weekly shows.  This is held on Wednesday evening from 5:30PM to 8:30PM with weather permitting and features some great Fifties to Eighties music, door prizes, and some really nice awards for the cars brought out that evening.  All you have to do to receive a door prize ticket, is to bring a non-perishable food or cash donation. This Isanti Weekly Car Show draws anywhere from 20 to 50 cars.  There are places you can eat dinner for the evening, like the VFW.  It's possible you have visited our show with your ride before and we hope you enjoyed your visit and invite you to return.

Other club activities include outings to interesting destinations. Many are car oriented, but some are just interesting. For the past several winters, we have held a WINTER PARTY for
active members and their immediate family at Junction Bowl with a dinner followed by bowling. The club is always looking for new things to visit.

Our business meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at Junction Bowl at 7:00 PM. They were gracious enough to allow us to use one of their dining rooms.  The address is 123 Cajima Street NE Isanti, MN 55040, just north of Isanti on highway 65 just behind the John Deere Dealer Minnesota Equipment.

Our club also is involved in raising funds for various charities throughout the area. We donate to Family Pathways with non-perishable food items followed by a cash donation at seasons end.  We also offer scholarships to Cambridge-Isanti High School students attending a trade school for an auto, robotics, welding, metal fab related field.

Please read our Membership Application Page and give some consideration to joining our group.  Our plans for this next year include some really great adventures.  We invite you to be a guest at any of our meetings or shows anytime.  We hope to see you soon.

For the latest updates follow us on our Facebook Page Rum River Rod's Isanti Weekly Car Show, you will find the most resent information of what our club activity's are, passed and present.
